Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles (U.S. GAAP), SEC regulations (10b-5-1 Plans) and best practices for external financial reporting.
  • At least 15 years of SEC reporting experience; Forms 8K, 10-Q, 10-K and related proxy statements (S-1 and S-8 filings are a plus).
  • 20+ years working with external auditors on SEC filings and documenting significant positions taken in financial statements; Experience with switching auditors for an SEC registrant is a plus.
  • Superior and incisive skills documenting significant accounting positions via technical memoranda (U.S. GAAP and SEC Regulations).
  • Diverse industry experience is required, experience in the gaming industry is preferred (but not required).
  • Experience working with auditors in first years (1 to 3) for a new SEC registrant is a plus.
  • CPA is required.
Responsibilities
  • Owning complex technical accounting processes with emphasis on 10K, 10Q, and 8K based on U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
