Requirements
  • Two to three years of retail sales experience is required.
  • Candidates must have a proven track record of sales generation and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently motivate the sales team to ensure that individual sales goals and company-determined key performance indicators are achieved and exceeded.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving total store goals and company-determined key performance indicators.
  • Educate the sales team on the store sales plan, personal sales goals, and store statistics, and motivate the team to achieve goals in partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor and achieve individual sales goals.
  • Create a customer-service-focused environment by consistently applying best practices in customer service, sales generation, and customer outreach.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership by maintaining high energy, participating actively on the sales floor, and coaching associates on clienteling processes and standards.
  • Develop and communicate knowledge of company history, brand aesthetic, brand philosophy, lifestyle, products, sizing, materials, construction, inventory levels, and sales trends to sales team members and customers to support sales generation.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues or concerns.
  • Assist with other customer service projects as directed by the Store Manager.
  • Coordinate the daily activities of the sales team.
  • Ensure that team members comply with company policies and procedures and escalate possible violations to the Store Manager.
  • Participate in training new associates on company policies and procedures, company history and brand aesthetic, company products, and customer service standards as directed by the Store Manager.
  • Act as a role model for the sales team by consistently exhibiting best practices in customer service and sales generation.
  • Recognize team members for exceptional performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members to address performance concerns and encourage continued growth and development.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to develop and train internal talent.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those in the Employee Handbook and those communicated by management.
  • Perform and coordinate store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the store.
  • Process all point-of-sale transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, and process repair requests in accordance with company processes and policies.
  • Ensure that the sales floor meets company standards for merchandising, visual presentation, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure that display products are in good condition and marked appropriately.
  • Comply with company merchandise and store security policies and procedures to minimize loss-prevention risks.
  • Communicate professionally and enthusiastically with clients, peers, management, and corporate partners.
  • Participate in the weekly manager conference call as required.
  • Communicate sales reports as required by company procedures.
