Responsibilities
  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in ensuring guest satisfaction through management of the daily operations of a single restaurant.
  • Manage financial controls, operations, people development, guest service, and compliance across shifts to improve sales, profitability, and employee retention.
  • Assume full accountability for restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager.
  • Work long or irregular shifts, including extra shifts as needed, to support proper restaurant functioning.
  • Lead the restaurant team and interact with restaurant team members, the General Manager, outside vendors, field operations staff, and guests.
  • Direct the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed-of-service guidelines.
  • Motivate and direct team members and Team Leaders to exceed guest expectations through fast, friendly service in clean surroundings.
  • Supervise and train team members and Team Leaders on team stations, processes, and policies.
  • Follow cash-control and security procedures.
  • Help implement marketing plans, maintain inventory, manage labor, and apply financial reports across shifts to improve restaurant results.
  • Assist the General Manager in enforcing government regulations, employment law, food safety, security policies, operations, and company policies and procedures across all restaurant activities and shifts.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain effective team talent by making hiring and advancement decisions or recommendations.
  • Make decisions or recommendations concerning team-member discipline and terminations.
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance for assigned shifts, meetings, and training.
