Requirements
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as needed.
  • Ability to inspect vehicles and maintain vehicle service, scheduling, repair, and maintenance records.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to determine parts required for repairs and the timeliness of need.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to travel regularly, including some overnight travel, as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Document work on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment, and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
