Job Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Video Editor on a 12 month fixed term contract, to join us in creating Star Wars™: Hunters, a competitive arena combat game for the Nintendo Switch system and mobile devices. Star Wars: Hunters will bring players together to engage in thrilling, team-based, multiplayer battles featuring a diverse array of distinctive new Star Wars characters.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our dev team, Marketing team and other key stakeholders to produce high quality video assets to drive interest and excitement for Star Wars: Hunters
- Generate ideas and execute - Show creativity and problem solving skills throughout creative process on any given task/asset
- Help guide and advise - Be a creative voice during discussions with key stakeholders and other video team members
- Manage and deliver all required formats for video assets - ensure all legal requirements are met (copy, ratings, etc…)
- Push and strive for new and creative approaches to video assets - while ensuring you adhere to LucasFilm, Star Wars, and studio brand guidelines
- Uphold communication between creatives, marketing team, production and key stakeholders throughout project timelines
- Support core dev team with features - capture footage and/or stills for use both in game and Marketing
- Pitch and experiment with video assets - keeping yourself up to date with industry trends and ethical technology
- Manage and supply estimates for video assets to ensure deadlines are met - communicating early and often if any issues arise
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience producing high-quality trailers and other video assets
- Strong eye for detail - quality, clear visuals and cinematography skills
- Strong knowledge in Unreal Engine, sequencer, game capture, and other tools within the editor
- Comfortable/confident directing multiplayer game capture sessions to create exciting gameplay shots for video content
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere - creation of mocks/animatics
- Multitasking - handling multiple projects at once
- Comfortable working with tight deadlines due to partnership guidelines and a live service game
- Be able to manage and own the entire production process for video projects from initial ideation to final delivery
