Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting work experience
  • Understanding of SOX and internal controls preferred
  • Experience working with an accounting software package (Oracle NetSuite proficiency preferred)
  • Sitetracker/Salesforce and Coupa knowledge is a plus
  • Extensive working knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deadline oriented and excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Assist the Accounting team with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing in compliance with established close deadlines
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations including investigation and resolution of reconciling differences
  • Prepare and book journal entries
  • Ensure proper backup documentation is retained for reconciliations and journal entries
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Support with financial statement disclosures and schedule preparations
  • Complete audit requests and inquiries from external auditors and other third parties
  • Partner with FP&A and IT teams to determine intercompany allocation of revenues and costs to corresponding subsidiaries
  • Effectively collaborate with Account Management and Legal teams to accurately track and report revenues and expenses in compliance with US GAAP related to certain contracts including grant programs and provide operational efficiencies
  • Manage and execute SOX controls related to select revenue and costs, ensuring compliance with the Company’s internal control over financial reporting and identifying and addressing any deficiencies
  • Ownership of construction related reimbursement and invoicing process for the eXtend customer contracts and grant programs
  • Manage and review offshore team’s day-to-day activities and work product
  • Perform and prepare ad hoc analysis, tasks, and reporting and special projects
