Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience working as an electrician.
  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
  • An electrician degree from a technical college.
  • A valid driver's license is required to drive between facilities.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair.
  • A 10-panel drug screen, including marijuana, and a pre-employment background check are required.
Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  • Follow the National Electrical Code and state and local building regulations.
  • Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Use various test equipment extensively.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as an in-house electrician is a plus.
