Head of PUQ - Global Supplier Quality
About the job
- A degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Business Management, or a similar field is required.
- At least 15 years of experience is required, including 6 years leading an international team.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methods, including ISO 9001, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, 8D problem-solving methods, Six Sigma, and capability studies.
- Process auditor qualification or experience according to VDA 6.3.
- Proficiency with Windows IT tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; SAP is preferred.
- Steer overall supplier quality assurance within all Home Comfort plants.
- Participate in and implement the PUQ quality strategy to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Deploy PUQ-A policy and break down quality targets, contracting and supporting through exchange of best practices and lessons learned within plants.
- Steer supply chain quality risks, including contingency planning and mitigation of supplier quality disruptions across more than 20 worldwide plants.
- Manage and coordinate the team.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with standards and best practices to ensure operational consistency across all plants.
- Coordinate supplier quality assurance topics cross-functionally and across locations, including EFFR.
- Ensure correct supplier quality data management in all locations.
- Monitor main key performance indicators to provide transparency, identify top offenders, and drive quality improvements using PDCA.
- Participate in and report on Home Comfort quality management decision meetings for production supplier quality topics, including IFC and SC-QMR.
- Support escalation-level quality risk management within Bosch and with suppliers.
- Cooperate with PUQ-E managers on supplier quality improvement, preventive programs, and sharing lessons learned.
- Steer complaint management status, escalation, and handover to PUQ-E Group Leaders.
- Monitor and ensure the internal failure cost reimbursement rate for Home Comfort.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and decrease defects and waste within all plants.
- Experience with SAP.
