Responsibilities
Develop, manage, update, and maintain knowledge management systems, including SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites, as repositories for storing, sharing, and using data.
Advise the Government on effective use of knowledge management tools.
Enhance information sharing of analyses, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, information technology information, and other relevant documents.
Train system users, including Government partners, and provide user guides as needed.
Integrate information with other databases as required.
Use automated tools and visualizations where possible to facilitate access to and analysis of information holdings.
Provide a Data Security Plan that ensures databases comply with data protection requirements and policies and incorporates a risk and recovery plan.
Employ tools for unique office needs, including interoperability with or information sharing with Federal, State, and local partners.

Job Description
The Business Analyst shall develop, manage, update, and maintain KM systems (e.g., SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites) that can serve as repositories for storing, sharing, and utilizing data. The Business Analyst shall assist the Government by advising how best to utilize KM tools. The KM systems will enhance information sharing of analysis, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other relevant documents. The Business Analyst shall train system users, which may include Government partners, providing user guides as needed. The Business Analyst shall integrate information with other databases, as required. Where possible, the Business Analyst shall utilize automated tools and visualizations to facilitate users’ access and ability to analyze information holdings. The Business Analyst shall provide a Data Security Plan (Section F, Deliverable 15) that ensures databases comply with data protections requirements and policies and incorporates a risk and recovery plan.
