Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • One to four years of work experience in a related field or role is required.
  • Experience supporting or participating in business development or a sales process is required.
  • Ability to work full time from a company location three to four days per week and travel on a limited basis.
  • Prior exposure to registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or custodial platforms such as Schwab, Fidelity, or Pershing is preferred.
  • Strong and effective communication, organizational, and time management skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment is required.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management platforms is required.
  • Proficiency with, or interest and aptitude in becoming proficient with, firm-enabled artificial intelligence tools is required.
  • Adherence to all compliance policies and procedures is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times is required.
Responsibilities
  • Act as an extension of multiple regional business development officers, moving sales processes forward while they are in the field or traveling.
  • Coordinate branch meetings.
  • Handle initial inquiries from financial consultants when a business development officer is unavailable.
  • Manage reporting and outreach on stale or hard-to-reach opportunities.
  • Collect and organize information required to prepare client proposals.
  • Track the client onboarding process with the servicing advisor and provide support where necessary.
  • Ensure data integrity for all active opportunities in customer relationship management and other core systems.
  • Engage with financial consultants or clients to qualify opportunities and set up initial meetings between business development officers and financial consultants or clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior exposure to registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or custodial platforms such as Schwab, Fidelity, or Pershing.
  • Working toward or having secured the Securities Industry Essentials examination, Series 65, or other industry certifications.
  • Salesforce experience.
