Requirements
  • Verifiable work experience with industrial equipment.
  • Strong electrical and programming skills.
  • Working knowledge of electrical motor control systems.
  • Working knowledge of electrical motor control schematics.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance of industrial equipment.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems.
  • Two years of related experience relevant to subject needs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in at least one of the following areas: industrial maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, vibration analysis, fluid power, electrical, aviation maintenance, safety, instrumentation and electronic control systems, welding, heavy equipment operation, telecommunications, computerized numerical controls, boiler systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, English as a second language, building construction and repair, or other specialized manufacturing skill sets and experience as deemed appropriate by client demand.
Responsibilities
  • Develop curriculum for educational projects including continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, special training projects, and international programs.
  • Deliver instruction for educational projects including continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, special training projects, and international programs.
  • Complete documentation, including grades, as required by the supervisor.
  • Demonstrate the organization's core values of excellence, accountability, service, and integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students, and community members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of basic fluid power systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Working knowledge of basic programmable logic controller operation and programming.
  • Working knowledge of programming electrical speed control systems, including AC/DC drives.
  • Working knowledge of basic machining and welding.
  • Related teaching experience.
