Responsibilities
  • Build and support a positive, success-driven culture reflecting the company's values and commercial standards.
  • Own commercial performance for the UK and EMEA team, ensuring new-logo sellers and account managers achieve annual targets and contribute to regional growth.
  • Serve as the senior commercial representative in the UK and EMEA, engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers among insurers, MGAs, intermediaries, and brokers.
  • Build and sustain the company's profile in the London market through industry events, associations, and networks.
  • Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy covering targeted campaigns, partnerships, and channel activity with Marketing and Sales Operations.
  • Track competitive dynamics and market trends across the EMEA insurance technology landscape and translate market intelligence into sales tactics and product feedback.
  • Lead, coach, and develop individual contributors across new-logo sales and account management.
  • Assess team-member strengths and development needs and manage performance through structured coaching, pipeline reviews, and feedback using the company's sales process.
  • Set performance expectations and participate in formal performance evaluations, compensation processes, and training identification.
  • Partner with HR and senior sales leadership to recruit, interview, and onboard team members and manage the UK and EMEA hiring pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Enablement to ensure onboarding and training covering the platform, client use cases, and sales and account-management practices.
  • Manage consistent prospecting and pipeline development through individual territory plans.
  • Implement a regional strategy for developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective customers across the UK and EMEA insurance market.
  • Engage directly in complex, high-value new-business pursuits and serve as a senior resource and deal coach during long-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Operations to align demand generation, lead qualification, and pipeline activity.
  • Oversee account-manager client engagement to solve problems, achieve business goals, and expand platform use.
  • Prioritize and ensure execution of annual account planning for priority accounts, including renewal strategy, upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and executive relationship management.
  • Confirm delivery excellence, client adoption, and satisfaction with entitled software and ongoing engagements.
  • Engage directly in high-priority client interactions, escalations, and strategic growth conversations with account managers.
  • Participate in selected client stewardship reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Partner with Client Success leaders on customer-success delivery, service-hour utilization, and timely escalation of at-risk engagements.
  • Assess and report progress against team objectives and KPIs, including new-logo bookings, aged receivables, contract renewals, references, demand-generation activity, and customer-support health.
  • Maintain accurate, timely pipeline and revenue forecasts and provide regular reporting on regional performance, market conditions, and team health to VP-level sales leadership.
  • Ensure consistent use of Salesforce CRM, documentation standards, and company policies and cross-functional processes.
  • Assess client and team needs and articulate them internally to influence product, service, and process improvements.
  • Own strategic and tactical commercial initiatives directed by the VP of Sales.

  • Carrier or intermediary experience followed by SaaS vendor experience is strongly preferred.

Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC; Carlsbad, Calif.) has selected Origami Risk (Chicago) to support its expansion into the admitted workers' compensation market. ISC, a multi-entity MGA platform with 41 business units, will implement Origami Risk's policy administration and billing solutions, according to an Origami statement. The project is intended to streamline core operations and support the operational and technical requirements of ISC's new admitted workers' compensation product. Origami Risk says its platform will provide multi-jurisdictional capabilities and configurable architecture to support ISC's immediate operational needs and longer-term program expansion. The system includes domain capabilities for admitted workers' compensation, including multi-jurisdictional compliance, integrated NCCI bureau content through Origami Risk's Bureau Content Repository, and specialized workflows.
