Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field with at least 5 years of industry experience in immunology research, with a focus on autoimmune diseases
  • Proven track record of leading early discovery projects in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Strong expertise in immunological assays, cellular and molecular biology techniques, and drug target validation

  • Prior experience managing a team of scientists and guiding research projects from concept to preclinical development
  • Strong publication record in immunology and autoimmune research, with a demonstrated impact in the field
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee Immunology-related activities for autoimmune projects in the early discovery phase
  • Develop and implement innovative research strategies to identify and validate drug targets for autoimmune diseases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute preclinical studies, including in vitro and in vivo experiments
  • Manage a team of scientists and research associates, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure project success
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in immunology and autoimmune research, and apply relevant knowledge to project development
  • Drive the development of novel immunotherapies and therapeutic modalities for autoimmune disorders through innovative research and scientific approaches
