Daniels Manufacturing Corporation

View

Daniels Manufacturing Corporation makes precision tools for building and maintaining electrical wiring systems used in aircraft, defense equipment and other industrial machinery. Its crimp tools attach contacts to wires, while connector assembly tools and wire preparation equipment help technicians build and repair cable harnesses. Customers buy individual tools or application-specific kits, and the company also designs custom tooling from a customer's concept through testing and production. It sells through its website and an international distributor network. The business traces its roots to an early-1940s machine shop and is headquartered in Orlando, Florida.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • DMC reaches European buyers locally: its German subsidiary supplies tools, calibration, repairs and on-site consultations.
  • DMC's Orlando second-shift inspectors receive immediate vesting: retirement contributions earn a 100% company match up to 4%.
  • DMC earns beyond tool sales: its 2026 price list charges $130 to calibrate specified manual crimp tools.

What critics are saying

  • DMC's Orlando inspectors work late on-site: the second-shift role runs from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • DMC's machinists working Orlando's second shift face exposure to coolants, oils, metal chips, dust and moderate-to-high noise.
  • DMC faces calibration constraints: its quality system maintains a recall process for significantly out-of-tolerance measurement equipment.

What makes Daniels Manufacturing Corporation unique

  • DMC protects its cable fasteners: LaceLok's registry lists three granted United States patents for cable-lacing devices.
  • DMC keeps production domestic: its products are designed and manufactured in the United States.
  • DMC makes military-qualified tooling: many products appear on the Department of Defense Qualified Products List.
