Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited graduate program with an APA/CPA-approved internship and post-doctoral training in neurodevelopmental disabilities
  • Applicant must be immediately eligible for licensure in West Virginia
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong awareness of and adherence to evidence-based strategies for the evaluation and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders
Responsibilities
  • Practice in the area of Child Psychology, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of Developmental Disabilities and Neurodevelopmental Disorders
  • Be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents, and psychology graduate students and fellows
  • The position will include clinical, teaching/supervision, and research responsibilities
  • Be involved in the training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internship in the Clinical Child Track and Pediatric Fellowship
  • Have opportunities for involvement with interdisciplinary clinics across the hospital system as well as outreach and training for families and statewide providers
  • Research opportunities within the Neurodevelopmental Center are available
