Requirements
  • Five to seven years of relevant ecommerce experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
  • Experience with content management.
  • Knowledge of creative software programs for digital content building.
  • Knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization and web traffic metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English.
  • Good organizational and proactive time-management skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
  • Own on-site category presentation, ensuring products are accurately categorized, prioritized, and visually compelling.
  • Manage product setup and enrichment, including attributes, categorization, and launch readiness.
  • Maintain and update site content across all placements for relevance, accuracy, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Build and execute seasonal, promotional, and brand storytelling moments across the site.
  • Contribute to digital merchandising strategy and execution for Automated Retail.
  • Ensure product detail pages are complete and optimized, including imagery, copy, attributes, and search engine optimization elements.
  • Partner with content production teams to communicate photography needs and content goals.
  • Request, build, and implement content that supports category strategy and drives conversion.
  • Analyze category, product, and content performance using web analytics tools.
  • Use data-backed insights to drive decision-making.
  • Report weekly on key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities to cross-functional partners.
  • Develop and evaluate testing ideas in partnership with digital optimization teams.
  • Work closely with Category Management, Planning, Marketing, and Content Production to align on category strategy and execution.
  • Communicate performance insights to educate partners and influence strategy.
  • Collaborate with Digital Optimization and Technology teams to improve site experience and discoverability.
  • Lead seasonal and unique product campaigns on behalf of the Digital Merchandising team in partnership with other teams.
  • Foster team growth through active collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Stay current on search engine optimization best practices and apply them to product and category pages.
  • Continuously deepen expertise in user experience, user interface, digital merchandising, and digital optimization by monitoring industry trends, tools, and innovations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve navigation, filters, and search relevance.
  • Continuously test and iterate on content, layouts, and merchandising strategies to improve conversion and engagement.
  • Monitor the ecommerce landscape to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across systems and site placements.
  • Manage timelines and workflows for product launches, content updates, and seasonal refreshes.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Serve as a role model for deadline discipline and customer-first execution while upholding rigorous quality assurance standards.
