About the job
- Strong knowledge of data, including relational databases, advanced SQL, and dimensional modeling.
- Knowledge of data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, and ETL/ELT.
- Proficiency with at least one data visualization tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with data cloud environments, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements.
- Ability to write specifications and user stories.
- Knowledge of agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban, and backlog management.
- Ability to conduct acceptance and functional tests.
- Gather, analyze, and understand client needs and expectations.
- Work with business teams to understand client needs and translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Design and write requirements documents and functional specifications that address business needs.
- Serve as the interface between clients and production teams, advising and supporting clients on their projects and solution changes.
- Write and track application acceptance test plans, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Ensure deliverable quality and value, including solution compliance with stated needs, data quality, and expected results.
- Support solution adoption and change management by helping users learn the solutions, providing training and documentation, and gathering feedback to guide improvements.
- Contribute to data governance by participating in the definition of reference data, business rules, data dictionaries, and good practices for data quality and compliance, including GDPR and security.
