Requirements
  • Have 4–6 years of experience in a quota-carrying role in sales, business development, or commercially accountable client success or account management.
  • Have a track record of meeting an individual revenue target.
  • Have experience originating and closing new business, not only growing inherited accounts.
  • Be comfortable owning pricing conversations, negotiating terms, and closing contracts.
  • Have strong retention performance across a managed portfolio.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline and forecasting habits and be fluent with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Be credible with both commercial and operational audiences.
  • Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
  • Grow held accounts by identifying expansion paths, leading commercial conversations, and directly negotiating scope changes, uplifts, and renewals.
  • Win new business by owning the territory's net-new logo target; building and working a pipeline through outbound activity, referrals, and industry networking; and running opportunities from initial conversation through solution design, pricing, and close.
  • Retain clients by serving as the senior relationship owner across the portfolio, running monthly and quarterly business reviews that evidence value, and identifying retention risk before renewal.
  • Partner with Operations to maintain timelines, quality, and compliance, and relay client feedback to Product and Client Solutions.
  • Attend and speak at sector conferences and industry events as a business development representative.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in IP enforcement, brand protection, legal services, software as a service (SaaS), or professional services is advantageous.
