Requirements
  • MBA degree from a leading business school with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in investment management, equity research, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a related analytical field.
  • The candidate must demonstrate high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • The candidate must demonstrate passion for financial markets, investing, and fundamental business analysis.
  • The candidate must have strong analytical capabilities to evaluate companies, industries, competitive dynamics, financial statements, and long-term investment opportunities.
  • The candidate must have experience conducting detailed fundamental research and translating insights into actionable investment recommendations.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong business judgment and the ability to identify key drivers of company performance and investment outcomes.
  • The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly articulate investment theses and present ideas to senior investment professionals.
  • The candidate must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • The candidate must be able to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver high-quality work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • The candidate must have strong quantitative, financial modeling, and valuation skills, with proficiency in analyzing company and industry data.

  • The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • The candidate must be proficient with FactSet and/or Bloomberg.
  • The candidate must be currently pursuing an MBA or other relevant graduate degree, with an expected graduation date in 2027 and availability to begin full-time employment in Summer 2027.
  • The candidate must have a strong academic record, including a minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent, with demonstrated excellence in analytical coursework.
  • The candidate must have an interest in pursuing the CFA program.
Responsibilities
  • Source, research, and recommend new equity ideas within the firm's investment process.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models.
  • Write detailed investment memorandums.
  • Develop and maintain research relationships with company management, industry contacts, research vendors, and other relevant parties.
  • Perform thorough fundamental analysis of companies across all sectors.
  • Consume and distill large quantities of information from research reports, industry news, news publications, company press releases and presentations, social media, primary sources, subject matter experts, and other sources to develop actionable insights.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on broad market trends, industry-specific developments, economic conditions, and regulatory, fiscal, and monetary policy to inform decision-making.
  • Speak with high-net-worth clients about their investment portfolios.
  • Participate in marketing meetings with consultants, advisors, clients, and prospects.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of financial markets to provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in client portfolios, manage exposure to various asset classes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that support the firm's objectives and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Grow into increasing levels of responsibility and help shape the role based on individual strengths and the firm's evolving needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience researching software and technology companies is preferred but not required.
  • Analytical coursework in finance, accounting, economics, or related disciplines is preferred.
