Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Education Degree is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Master or Journeyman license is required.
  • The candidate must be able to pass a drug and background screen.
  • The candidate must be able to multitask while staying organized.
  • The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The candidate must have positive customer service skills.
  • The candidate must have experience leading crews or acting as a foreman on new ground-up construction projects.
Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for all FSG Electric field trades on an electrical construction crew or project.
  • Work with field leadership and the Project Manager on the scope of work and installed work.
  • Lay out work for subordinate lead persons and jointly coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure that materials, tools, equipment, information, and appropriate manpower are in the proper place in a timely manner.
  • Establish work schedules and man-loading charts.
  • Direct subordinate crews in the installation of electrical feeders; equipment such as pumps, motors, and generators; control and distribution apparatus such as switchgear, relays, and circuit breaker panels; lighting fixtures and outlets; and related connections and terminations.
  • Monitor work as performed, direct subordinate crews, and schedule work according to the pace of the job and other trades.
  • Perform work being supervised for production or instruction when needed.
  • Handle or oversee required office correspondence and administrative paperwork, including official forms, daily reports, time sheets or tickets, and safety reports.
  • Be responsible for crew or project safety performance.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained or instructed in the duties to which they are assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with FSG Electric safety processes and protocols.
  • Investigate or assist in investigating and reporting accidents or safety incidents involving job-site employees.

  • Previous experience with lighting is a plus.
