Requirements
  • An M.D. degree is required.
  • Completion of an accredited three-year Fellowship in Cardiology is required.
  • Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease is required.
  • Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine is required.
  • One to five years of experience or training in Adult Congenital Heart Disease is required.
  • Ability to manage patients with Adult Congenital Heart Disease and appropriate advanced imaging skills for diagnosis and treatment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Adult Congenital Heart Disease population in acute and ambulatory settings.
  • Provide inpatient rounding services to the Cardiovascular Department.
  • Provide imaging and advanced imaging services to diagnose and treat the Adult Congenital Heart Disease and general cardiology populations.
  • Provide night and weekend call services similar to other Non-Invasive Cardiologists.
Desired Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited two-year Fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
  • Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
  • Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiac Ultrasound.
  • Board certification in Advanced Imaging.
