About the job

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of enterprise software-as-a-service sales experience, with a track record of closing six- and seven-figure annual contract value deals involving multi-stakeholder buying committees.
  • Experience selling to multi-site or multi-location organizations where the buyer is above the individual facility.
  • Ability to run long, complex sales cycles of 6–12 or more months with disciplined, accurate forecasting.
  • Experience with a formal sales methodology for multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, such as Miller Heiman/Korn Ferry, MEDDIC, or equivalent.
  • Comfort operating as an individual contributor at the top of a sales organization in a fast-growing, venture-backed startup without an established enterprise playbook.
  • Willingness to travel for executive meetings, site visits, and association events across the West territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle for Carefeed’s largest, most complex deals in the West territory, from the first executive conversation through signed contract.
  • Build and run multi-stakeholder buying committee strategy at the chain and corporate level to prevent stakeholders from stalling implementation.
  • Build executive-level relationships with owners, operators, and C-suite decision-makers at multi-facility senior living and skilled nursing organizations.
  • Manage long, complex enterprise sales cycles with disciplined forecasting and accurate stage progression.
  • Partner with the Head of Growth to transition named enterprise accounts from founder-led selling to a repeatable process.
  • Represent Carefeed at national and state association events to build relationships with chain-level decision-makers.
  • Work cross-functionally with product and customer experience teams to structure deals that meet the needs of multi-site organizations for successful go-live.
  • Bring enterprise deal-structure and chain-level buying committee discipline into the broader sales organization’s playbook.
Desired Qualifications
  • Healthcare, senior living, long-term care, or adjacent regulated-industry sales experience is strongly preferred.

What believers are saying

  • A March 2026 study said customers saved ten weekly hours and cut admissions 75%.
  • Yardi named Carefeed a new EHR interface partner in January 2026.
  • Mike Collette joined the board in March 2026, strengthening healthcare scaling credibility.

What critics are saying

  • G2 lists 2,000 communities, but independent revenue disclosure remains absent.
  • PatientPoint board addition does not fix Carefeed's small team against PointClickCare and Yardi.
  • If EHR partners replicate messaging and admissions, Carefeed becomes a feature, not a company.

What makes Carefeed unique

  • Carefeed unifies admissions, messaging, payments, and bed boards for senior care teams.
  • Its EHR and HRIS integrations reduce duplicate entry across Yardi and other systems.
  • The platform targets post-acute workflows, not generic healthcare communication, sharpening product-market fit.

Carefeed appoints Ellen Kuebrich VP of growth to lead commercial expansion.

Carefeed appoints Ellen Kuebrich VP of growth to lead commercial expansion. October 8, 2026 Ellen Kuebrich Carefeed has appointed Ellen Kuebrich vice president of growth, bringing in a senior living and post-acute care industry executive with 20 years of experience to lead the company's sales, marketing and payments strategy. The appointment comes as Carefeed, a unified operations software provider for senior living and long-term care organizations, expands its commercial operations and positions its platform around improving operational efficiency, financial performance and regulatory compliance. Kuebrich will oversee the company's commercial growth strategy, including customer acquisition, market positioning and the development of its payments business. Her appointment reflects Carefeed's focus on helping senior living operators consolidate administrative workflows and reduce the operational burden created by multiple disconnected software systems. Kuebrich brings two decades of experience working with post-acute care organizations, including a leadership role at Providigm, where she helped establish the company's abaqis quality assurance platform in the skilled nursing market. During her tenure, Providigm built a 20% share of the national skilled nursing market for abaqis, supported by a commercial strategy emphasizing education, industry expertise and relationships with care providers. That experience will inform Kuebrich's approach at Carefeed as the company seeks to expand adoption of its software among senior living communities and long-term care operators. The appointment comes amid growing pressure on care providers to manage staffing costs, administrative workloads and compliance requirements while maintaining service quality. For technology vendors serving the sector, those challenges have increased the importance of demonstrating measurable financial and operational benefits rather than simply introducing additional software capabilities. "Most operators think they have a staffing problem. It's really a workload problem," said Terry Wall, founder and CEO of Carefeed. Wall said the proliferation of specialized software products can create additional responsibilities for employees who must manage multiple systems alongside their existing duties. Carefeed's approach is to consolidate essential operational workflows into a connected platform, reducing the number of separate processes that staff must manage. The software is designed to support coordination across departments, standardize daily tasks and provide greater visibility into operational performance. Rather than replacing electronic health record or human resources information systems, Carefeed works alongside existing EHR and HRIS platforms to connect administrative and operational activities. The company says this structure helps organizations identify workflow bottlenecks, improve follow-through on essential tasks and gain greater control over operating expenses. Kuebrich will be responsible for communicating those benefits to prospective customers while developing a commercial strategy focused on financial returns, operational efficiency and compliance. "I've spent twenty years watching operators get sold complexity when what they needed was time back in their day," Kuebrich said. Her appointment also places payments strategy within the company's growth function, connecting that business area with broader sales and marketing efforts. For senior living and long-term care operators, financial predictability and administrative efficiency are closely linked to how effectively organizations manage daily workflows across communities. Carefeed is positioning its platform as a way to reduce administrative complexity while improving visibility into the activities that affect operating performance. Founded in 2020, Carefeed maintains offices in Cincinnati and Chicago and serves senior living and long-term care organizations. Its platform brings together operational workflows that support resident care, staff coordination and administrative execution within a shared system. The software is intended to help organizations standardize processes across departments and locations, identify recurring operational issues and improve accountability for essential tasks. By consolidating those functions, Carefeed aims to help providers reduce manual work and improve coordination without requiring them to replace their existing core technology infrastructure. Kuebrich's experience in education-led marketing and healthcare technology adoption will be central to the company's efforts to expand its customer base. At Providigm, she helped develop a commercial approach built around explaining operational challenges and demonstrating how technology could address them. Carefeed plans to apply a similar strategy as it introduces its broader operational platform to senior living and skilled nursing organizations. The company will introduce Kuebrich to industry participants at the AHCA/NCAL Annual Convention and Expo, where Carefeed will exhibit at booth 830. The event will provide an opportunity to engage senior living and long-term care operators as the company expands its commercial outreach. For Carefeed, the appointment adds an executive with established relationships and experience scaling healthcare technology adoption in a market where purchasing decisions are closely tied to operational needs and financial performance. Kuebrich will lead efforts to strengthen the company's market presence, expand customer relationships and position its connected operations platform as a tool for improving efficiency and financial outcomes across senior living and long-term care organizations.
