Rollout provides AI-powered assistants for law enforcement to reduce administrative work. Its core product is a mobile patrol assistant that captures incident data on the scene—documents, photos, and voice notes—and then drafts a narrative and a report. An in-car laptop agent can populate existing records management systems or PDF forms without requiring agencies to replace their current software. The company pilots with police departments to tailor workflows and aims to expand partnerships to cut officers' administrative workload and increase time for field presence.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Rollout began pilots with Louisville Metro PD and Haverstraw Police Department in 2025.
  • The UK launched PoliceAI with £75 million, normalizing AI procurement across policing.
  • Departments want fewer desk hours; paperwork reduction directly frees officers for patrol work.

What critics are saying

  • Axon’s Draft One already dominates police AI reporting, compressing Rollout’s sales window.
  • Connecticut imposed a moratorium on AI report-writing in April 2026, slowing procurements.
  • If agencies reject AI-drafted narratives, Rollout loses its core workflow and pilot conversions.

What makes Rollout unique

  • Ted Sullivan and Kiril Savino bring GameChanger’s consumer workflow design to policing.
  • Rollout layers onto existing RMS and PDF forms, avoiding integration-heavy replacement cycles.
  • Mobile capture plus in-car drafting shortens patrol paperwork without changing officer hardware.
