About the company

Rollout provides AI-powered assistants for law enforcement to reduce administrative work. Its core product is a mobile patrol assistant that captures incident data on the scene—documents, photos, and voice notes—and then drafts a narrative and a report. An in-car laptop agent can populate existing records management systems or PDF forms without requiring agencies to replace their current software. The company pilots with police departments to tailor workflows and aims to expand partnerships to cut officers' administrative workload and increase time for field presence.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Rollout raised $5.5 million on August 11, 2026, led by Trilogy Equity Partners.
  • Hiring engineering and product design in New York signals expansion beyond pilots.
  • Officers in pilot agencies test voice notes, photos, and AI report drafting daily.

What critics are saying

  • Motorola-owned Hyper is already automating police calls, intensifying procurement pressure.
  • Public-sector AI reporting invites errors, discovery fights, and union resistance during 2026 rollouts.
  • If Louisville or Haverstraw reject renewals, Rollout loses its only disclosed traction.

What makes Rollout unique

  • Rollout layers onto existing RMS and PDF workflows, avoiding integration replacements.
  • Rollout's pilots with Louisville Metro PD and Haverstraw PD anchor real field feedback.
  • Ted Sullivan and Kiril Savino reuse GameChanger's usability playbook for police paperwork.
