About the job
- A technical baccalaureate in maintenance, or a CAP-BEP qualification in electrotechnics or electromechanics.
- At least three years of experience as a maintenance technician.
- Fluency in French is essential; English is a plus.
- Good presentation and communication skills for customer contact.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, heating, and plumbing.
- A valid electrical authorization.
- Contribute to the proper operation of all hotel equipment and technical installations and ensure the technical follow-up and compliance of rooms and salons.
- Provide technical presence 24 hours a day, seven days a week according to the established schedule.
- Adapt interventions to customer expectations and ensure appropriate responses.
- Perform occasional refurbishment work, resolve unforeseen issues, and update tracking tools.
- Anticipate and remedy malfunctions in technical installations.
- Implement corrective action plans communicated by the manager.
- Follow the preventive maintenance plan.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair common areas and hotel rooms, including carpeting, wallpaper, paint, false ceilings, and joinery.
- Track work orders through to full completion.
- Maintain and repair small equipment such as safes, locks, minibars, and video projectors.
- Conduct regular inspections of technical installations to prevent malfunctions.
- Receive inventory and move or lift supplies and equipment when required.
- Minimize merchandise waste and help optimize energy consumption.
- Apply procedures and policies defined by the brand and hotel.
- Communicate information clearly, effectively, and professionally to managers.
- Help orient new employees in their work area.
- Maintain the required appearance and follow the hotel's grooming policy.
- Knowledge of ventilation, heating and air conditioning, plumbing and water distribution systems, electrical systems, fire prevention systems, television and radio antenna networks, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration systems.
