Quilt Software buys specialized point-of-sale (POS) software companies that serve small businesses with unique inventory needs or targeted POS requirements. It then integrates these acquired products into its QuiltOS platform, offering ongoing tools, resources, and consulting to help the retailers grow and reach more customers. Revenue comes from scaling and aligning the acquired businesses with Quilt Software's growth strategy, expanding market reach and improving operations for local independent retailers so they can compete with larger chains. Quilt Software differentiates itself by assembling a portfolio of niche POS solutions under one ecosystem (QuiltOS) and providing a combination of integration, expertise, and growth support tailored to small to mid-sized retailers. The company's goal is to help these retailers achieve sustainable growth and long-term success through coordinated acquisition, integration, and operational support.
