Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Current license or eligibility for licensure to practice occupational therapy through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, consult with other professionals as necessary, reassess patient status, and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Design and implement a plan of care based on evaluation of patient status.
Provide occupational therapy within accepted standards of care and in accordance with state law.
Provide occupational therapy in a home care setting or outpatient clinic as assigned.
Communicate with clients, relatives, professional staff, and support staff to achieve desired patient outcomes.
Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Maintain current and accurate records of signed prescriptions, patient evaluations, treatments, goals, and plans of care, ensuring conformity to regulations and third-party payer requirements.
Perform patient care visits in accordance with agency productivity requirements.
Desired Qualifications
A master's degree in a related field.

Minimum Education: Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Master’s degree in related field preferred. Licenses/Registrations:
Current license or eligible for license to practice occupational therapy by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA).
