Role Overview:
As an advertising sales leader, your primary responsibility is overseeing advertising inventory sales, while managing an Ad Sales Operations Team. This involves managing relationships with advertising sales executives and ad operations leaders and team members, you’ll analyze market trends, develop pricing strategies, help negotiate deals, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize ad campaigns for clients. Additionally, you’ll stay updated on industry advancements and technological developments to ensure the effectiveness and competitiveness of your advertising offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate the team’s role in implementing the function’s strategy and business plan, aligning efforts with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Motivate the team to achieve local business goals and exceed expectations.
- Oversee digital marketing operations, including campaign execution, collaboration with agencies, and analysis of penetration and results.
- Provide expert guidance on policies and procedures, resolving complex issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
- Manage a diverse team by setting performance objectives, holding individuals accountable, and taking corrective action to ensure team and personal objectives are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, acting as a trusted business partner and aligning resources to deliver on business strategies and plans.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of performance management and talent development processes, including job evaluations and remedial actions as needed.
- Monitor performance and behaviors within the team to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory codes, and codes of conduct, addressing noncompliance when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, with 6 to 10 years of experience in account management, sales, marketing management, or a similar role, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6 to 10 years of experience leading and supporting high-performing, globally distributed teams, driving alignment, fostering collaboration, and achieving shared objectives.
