Requirements
- The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- The candidate must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in good standing in the State of Georgia.
- The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse are preferred.
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or another clinical specialty certification, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
