NIQ expands local targeting with tdlinx audiences.

NIQ expands local targeting with tdlinx audiences. 23 September 2026, 3 mins read Press releases. New audience solution enables advertisers to reach consumers near the retailers, channels, and store locations that matter most. CHICAGO, September 22, 2026 - NIQ (NYSE: NIQ), a leading consumer intelligence company, today announced the launch of TDLinx Audiences, a new suite of local audiences enabling marketers to reach consumers based on their proximity to specific retailers, retail banners, and retail channels. Built from NIQ's trusted retail location intelligence, TDLinx Audiences help brands align media investments with the retailers most relevant to their business, improving marketing efficiency through more precise audience targeting. TDLinx Audiences enable marketers to support retailer-specific campaigns, shopper marketing initiatives, competitive audience targeting, and channel-specific growth strategies with greater precision and efficiency. Now available through The Trade Desk in the United States, NIQ provides more than 270 syndicated TDLinx Audience segments across more than a dozen retail channels and thousands of verified locations of major national, regional, and specialty retailers. Custom TDLinx Audiences can be developed on request. "Ultimately, every campaign is judged by its ability to drive sales where products are sold," said Maureen Stapleton, Global Commercial Lead of NIQ's Media division. "Without visibility into retailer proximity, marketers are missing a critical signal that influences purchase behavior. TDLinx Audiences help close that gap, enabling brands to align media investments with the retailers and channels most important to their growth, supporting more efficient media activation." A powerful complement to NIQ GeoPurchase Audiences. The launch of TDLinx Audiences further expands NIQ's local targeting capabilities and complements the company's established GeoPurchase Audiences, which help advertisers identify ZIP codes with strong category demand, growth potential, or competitive opportunity. Together, GeoPurchase and TDLinx Audiences provide a comprehensive local targeting solution: GeoPurchase Audiences help marketers identify where opportunity exists, while TDLinx Audiences help advertisers reach consumers based on their proximity to specific retailers and retail channels. By combining consumer demand signals with retail proximity targeting, advertisers can make media investments more efficient, relevant, and impactful. About NIQ. NIQ announces off-market, friendly takeover bid for The U Group & Co Limited, strengthening trusted intelligence for the AI era. 22 September 2026, 3 mins read Press releases. CHICAGO (Sept. 21, 2026) - NielsenIQ (NYSE: NIQ), a leading consumer intelligence company, today announced that its wholly-owned Australian subsidiary, Nielsen Connect Australia Pty Ltd (NIQ Australia) has launched a conditional off-market offer for all outstanding shares of The U Group & Co Limited (The U Group) as a friendly takeover bid (Offer). The U Group is an Australian-based company specializing in first-party, consumer-consented purchase data collection through its ReceiptJar app, receipt intelligence, and AI-powered data processing capabilities. In connection with the Offer, NIQ Australia has lodged its Bidder's Statement with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and dispatched the Offer materials to shareholders of The U Group in accordance with applicable Australian regulatory requirements. The Board of The U Group has unanimously recommended that shareholders accept the Offer for the reasons set out in the Target's Statement. The Offer reflects NIQ's commitment to strengthening trusted intelligence and enhancing The Full View(TM) for clients. If successful, the transaction would add differentiated, consumer-contributed purchase signals and real-world shopping data to NIQ's global intelligence assets, further enhancing its measurement and understanding of consumer purchasing behavior. By combining NIQ's trusted measurement and analytics capabilities with The U Group's ReceiptJar mobile app and related technologies, the transaction would create opportunities for a more complete view of the consumer, enabling new forms of insight, connectivity, and innovation. As AI increasingly transforms how organizations make decisions, trusted intelligence and real-world behavioral signals are becoming critical inputs for innovation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled decision-making. "We believe AI is only as effective as the intelligence behind it," said Jim Peck, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NIQ. "We've worked with The U Group for five years and know the value of what they've built. Bringing these capabilities together would strengthen The Full View, enhance our trusted intelligence foundation and help clients make better decisions." Through its ReceiptJar mobile app and related technologies, The U Group captures consumer-consented purchase information and provides AI-powered receipt intelligence capabilities that complement NIQ's existing data and measurement ecosystem. Consumers voluntarily contribute their purchase data through the app, creating a trusted source of first-party shopping insights. These additional purchase signals would help broaden NIQ's measurement of consumer behavior and create opportunities for future innovation and stronger client outcomes. "The future of consumer intelligence will increasingly be powered by the combination of trusted data, consumer participation, and AI-driven innovation," said Tyler Spooner, CEO of The U Group & Co Limited. "Our longstanding relationship with NIQ has demonstrated the potential of bringing these capabilities together, and we are excited about the opportunity to create even greater value for clients in a rapidly evolving marketplace." The Offer remains subject to the condition of 90% shareholder acceptance by The U Group shareholders and other customary conditions. Until the Offer is declared unconditional and the process to acquire 100% is completed, NIQ and The U Group will continue operating independently, and there are no immediate changes to products, services, employee roles, or client support models. NIQ expands Shopper Intelligence capabilities in Singapore and Hong Kong through enhanced Homescan coverage.

NIQ expands Shopper Intelligence capabilities in Singapore and Hong Kong through enhanced Homescan coverage. 15 September 2026, 4 mins read Press releases. Enhanced Homescan panels increase categories available for monthly analysis by 85% in Singapore and 64% in Hong Kong. CHICAGO, September 15, 2026 - NielsenIQ (NYSE: NIQ), a leading consumer intelligence company, today announced that its expanded Homescan consumer panels are now available in Singapore and Hong Kong. The enhancements have increased the number of categories available for reliable monthly analysis by 85% in Singapore and 64% in Hong Kong, giving brands and retailers a more detailed view of who is buying, where they shop and what drives their choices. As shopper behavior continues to evolve across retailers and channels, businesses need deeper visibility into who is driving growth, where consumers are shopping, and how purchasing habits are changing. NIQ's expanded Homescan panels address these needs through broader shopper coverage, improved demographic representation, enhanced coding coverage, stronger retailer-level insights, and more robust category and brand visibility. Unlike standalone consumer panel solutions, NIQ combines retail measurement and shopper intelligence within a connected ecosystem, helping clients understand not just what sold, but who bought, where they shopped, and the behaviors driving growth. Key benefits include: * A stronger, more representative view of shopper behavior across Singapore and Hong Kong * More precise visibility into what shoppers buy, where they shop, and how behavior differs across categories and channels * Enhanced retailer-level insights into switching, loyalty, leakage, and shopper missions * Greater confidence in decision-making through improved sample representation * Seamless integration with NIQ Discover to support more connected consumer and market intelligence "Growth is increasingly determined by what happens across the entire shopping journey, not within a single retailer or channel," said Ramon Melgarejo, NIQ President, Global E-commerce. "By strengthening our Homescan panels in Singapore and Hong Kong, we are giving brands and retailers a clearer view of who is driving growth, where shoppers are moving and why their behavior is changing. Combined with NIQ's retail measurement, that intelligence helps clients make decisions with far greater confidence." The expansion represents NIQ's continued investment in Homescan and its commitment to delivering The Full View(TM) of consumer behavior. Through enhanced panel coverage and integration with NIQ Discover, clients can connect shopper behavior with retail sales performance in one environment, enabling a more complete understanding of who is driving growth, where consumers are shopping, and how purchasing behavior is evolving over time. Additional gains are expected as the expanded panels continue to mature throughout the year. About NIQ.
