Responsibilities
  • Manage PR firms and resources, establish the overall PR strategy and execute multiple high-profile public relations campaigns
  • Monitor the news to identify areas of opportunity for the company to provide commentary
  • Write bylined articles on behalf of company thought leaders for placement with third parties and/or the company blog

  • Counsel management on communications strategies and tactics when issues, policies, or decisions threaten to impact the reputation of GuidePoint Security
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with thought leaders within the company and the media as well as GuidePoint’s social media team
  • Evaluate the success of earned media placements in building corporate reputation and mitigating crises and utilize learnings from outcomes to inform future strategic outreach
  • Manage the corporate blog editorial calendar
  • Add news articles and blogs to the corporate website
