Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine required.
  • Strong knowledge base in a specialty area of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
  • A demonstrated ability and desire to teach.
  • Candidate must be board certified/board eligible in NMM/OMM, or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and motivation to contribute to the growth and development of the OMM department, and overall university.
Responsibilities
  • Adjunct faculty members in the OMM department are responsible for the delivery of the OMM laboratory content in the 1st and 2nd year OMM courses.
  • They are expected to table train osteopathic medical students in the OMM lab, as well as present laboratory content.
  • Facilitate an environment conducive for learning, and help motivate students to learn.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the OMM department.
  • Practical examination grading.
Desired Qualifications
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine preferred.
