Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Own the full scope of omni-channel media execution
  • Inspire, grow, lead & coach a large team of smart buying/activation specialists
  • Develop & upskill talent to stay on top of industry trends, new platforms, emerging technologies & opportunities to bring to clients on a regular basis
  • Define, improve & manage success metrics across all media channels to align with client business KPIs & goals
  • Work closely with the data & analytics teams to establish accurate measurement strategies & insight delivery for clients
  • Build strong consultative relationships with clients and other departments within the agency to create & foster a collaborative working relationship
  • Manage team allocation and assignments for efficiency and growth as well as supporting SOW creation for clients alongside Brand Leadership
  • Craft and deliver business case to Executive agency leadership for incremental positions
  • Support the Chief Media Officer with the vision and growth plan for the team
  • Ensure flawless delivery of client work and step in as senior level communication on various client satisfaction concerns, when needed
  • Regularly review team structure and establish growth opportunities for the Buying team specifically, to help elevate offering and stay on the forefront of changing landscape
  • Manage overall Buying team and navigate personnel advancement opportunities with Human Resources and relevant team leads
  • Work collaboratively across various departments within the agency to ensure the right conditions are being created for a truly integrated approach
  • Provide ongoing feedback, manage and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Review and align with HR on proper compensation for individual partners on the Buying team
  • Help support individual partner career growth
  • Stay on the leading edge of industry trends and bring fresh thinking to the team
  • Review agency utilization reports to ensure teams proper time entry as well as spot burnout or underutilization in talent
  • Actively identify opportunities to share-out media wins and education within the larger team and agency
  • Update Chief Media Officer on status of team on an ongoing basis and elevate issues in a timely manner
  • Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
