About The Role & Team

We’re seeking a dynamic Director, HR Business Partner to be a driving force behind meaningful programs and initiatives across multiple countries. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales & Customer Success leaders, contributing to the scalability and global alignment of our company. You will report directly to the VP of Employment Law, HRBPs and Talent Success.
As a Director, People Business Partner, You Will:
- Fuel Team Growth: Scale our incredible teams by implementing effective talent strategies and cultivating leadership and management capabilities.
- Global Team Focus: Craft successful Sales & Customer Success teams on a global scale, ensuring diversity and inclusion are at the forefront.
- Strategic People Development: Develop and execute people and talent strategies, enhancing our existing onboarding, performance management, employee relations, learning, and total rewards programs.
- Cultural Amplification: Elevate our outstanding, high-performance culture and strengthen our talent brand to attract top-tier professionals.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with leaders to understand business needs, providing guidance that drives key decisions and empowers senior leadership to take ownership of challenges.
- Organizational Design: Advise and collaborate with client groups on organizational design, team efficiency, and integration.
- Policy Interpretation and Fairness: Provide policy interpretation, counseling, and training for employees and managers, ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a person-centered culture with a passion for building high employee engagement.
- Scaling Expertise: Navigate the complexities of scaling through acquisitions.
You’ll be a Valuable Addition to the Team if You Have:
- Dynamic HR Experience: Diverse HR experience in scaling organizations from hundreds to thousands of employees.
- GTM Organization Experience: Previous engagement with SaaS Go-To-Market (GTM) organizations, specifically in sales, customer success, marketing, or revenue.
- Leadership Partnership: Proven experience in effectively partnering with and influencing senior leadership.
- Versatile Background: Experience in both private and public organizations, with a specific focus on scaling businesses.
- Strategic Insight: Understanding of people dynamics, organizational strategy, and talent processes.
- Innovative Mindset: A desire to challenge the status quo, find efficiencies, and create impactful strategies.
- Collaborative Bias: A bias towards partnership with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $220,000 - $330,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $220,000 - $330,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
