Associate Program Managers (APM) are individual contributors that collaborate with cross functional teams to drive the standardization and processes of the Strategic Sales and Analytics (SS&A). The APM will additionally support the management of POS insights, market strategy, and pricing recommendations for key accounts. This role will look to light up targets around the health of the business, category, and market opportunities. This is an excellent position for a highly motivated team member who will learn to operate with urgency, escalate risks and drive resolutions. Program Managers in Strategic Planning Operations build bridges between the cross functional teams and are seen as the glue that holds the team together by owning communication streams across all groups. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Strategic Planning Operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Program Management team to actively facilitate the interaction of cross-functional stakeholders to bring products to market, including managing risks, and schedule
- Identify weekly and monthly deliverables to the SS&A teams
- Create and make use of KPI’s and data to help drive decision making within the SS&A team
- Identify program risks, develop mitigation/contingency and track progress
- Process Center of Excellence for the Strategic Sales and Analytics organization
- Establish global best practices and document in playbooks
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years Program management experience
- Experience desired in some combination of commercialization, sales analytics, new product launches or program management
- Assertive, confident, capable
- Strong influence skills
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
- Cross-functional leadership skills
- Possess a strong bias to action and accountability.
- Working level skills with MS Project (or similar), Excel, PPT, Visio, SmartSheet
- High energy, with a positive attitude
- Detail oriented
