Responsibilities
Maintain exterior grounds and interior common areas in a clean and presentable condition.
Clean laundry rooms daily and vacuum buildings and foyers as needed.
Check, clean, and replace light fixtures and bulbs as needed.
Remove trash cans from common areas and prepare trash areas for pickup, keeping them free of garbage, furniture, and other debris.
Pick up trash from the grounds and keep indoor and outdoor common areas neat.
Sweep sidewalks and curbs, shovel walkways, and sand or salt icy areas in winter.
Leaf-blow the grounds as needed.
Water, weed, prune, and mulch lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds, and occasionally plant them.
Keep recreational and pool areas clean and free of debris, and assist with setting up and taking down patio furniture.
Walk the property daily at regular intervals to ensure resident or tenant property rules are followed and the property is clean, orderly, and in good maintenance condition.
Keep storage areas clean and ensure supplies, parts, and equipment are cared for properly.
Complete paint touch-ups in vacant units and common areas when requested.
Assist with removing abandoned property from vacant units, storage units, and garages as needed.
Assist the maintenance team when needed.
Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional manner with residents, vendors, fellow employees, and the public.
Comply with safety program requirements and promote workplace safety.
Attend required trainings and meetings.
Perform other duties assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for all duties pertinent to the day-to-day cleaning and groundskeeping of the assigned property(s). Duties include, but not limited to, maintaining the upkeep of common areas, entryways, and shared spaces. Maintenance of the grounds includes, but not limited to, watering of ornamental plants and flowers, shoveling, sweeping of parking lots, paved areas, and walkways. QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior experience in maintaining grounds of a large residential property preferred
Knowledge of cleaning and lawn care products
