About the job
- A Master’s degree or engineering degree in energy systems, or equivalent.
- At least four years of experience in renewable energy, particularly solar, within a consulting engineering firm, developer, or independent power producer.
- Strong skills with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and SketchUp; PV Case is a plus.
- Fluent French at native or bilingual level and English, spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and conduct field work in France and abroad.
- Ability to support colleagues and help develop their skills.
- Conduct feasibility studies for photovoltaic power plants.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed design studies.
- Conduct photovoltaic energy-yield studies.
- Analyze system performance.
- Perform technical audits during project financing, including analysis of technical design, contracts (EPC, O&M, PPA, grid access, etc.), permits and authorizations, and technical aspects of financial models.
- Inspect photovoltaic power plants.
- Provide project-owner assistance.
- Train and support colleagues on photovoltaic topics and contribute to the continuous development of team skills.
- Promote sharing technical knowledge and best practices among the group’s international offices.
- Knowledge of other renewable energy technologies, including battery storage.
- Field experience inspecting photovoltaic power plants and monitoring construction.
- Knowledge of Python.
