Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous electrical experience is necessary.
  • A valid United States driver's license and motor vehicle report are required.
  • The ability to read blueprints is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring is required.
  • The ability to use hand tools and power tools is required.
  • Proficiency with test meters and other diagnostic equipment is required.
  • The ability to see color to discern color-coded wiring is required.
  • The ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders or scaffolding for prolonged periods is required.
  • The ability to pull wires and cables through conduits is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time is required.
Responsibilities
  • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
  • Install conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
  • Ensure piping complies with electrical codes.
  • Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them.
  • Connect electrical systems to power lines to provide electricity to the building.
  • Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
  • Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
  • Replace conduit and wiring as needed.
  • Replace circuit breakers as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with the Hotel Maintenance department to perform preventive and emergency tasks associated with hotel operations.
