Requirements
  • Experience with a CAD program (CATIA, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc)
  • Experience in the design and validation of structural components
  • Proven knowledge of engineering fundamentals behind passenger vehicles, especially their suspension, steering, and braking systems
  • A desire to apply what you know, but also question every assumption
  • Experience with Formula SAE Electric, Baja SAE, or other automotive team/technology
  • Field(s) of study: Mechanical engineering, or related field
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university
  • Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS)
Responsibilities
  • Take one or more technical projects, related to suspension, steering, and/or braking from idea to completion
  • Apply data-driven decision making and teamwork to solve complex problems and questions
  • Support other engineers in component/system design and validation, data collection and analysis, program management, and logistics
