Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
At least 5 years of experience in production-line work and food manufacturing is required.
Experience with extrusion, thermal processing, and retort processing is required.
Good English and Thai communication skills are required.
Knowledge of food-processing units and equipment is required.
Project-management skills are required.
SAP experience is required.
Experience managing a production-line team is required.

Responsibilities

Provide management support to enable production teams to achieve their goals.
Plan and coordinate the training and development needs of production-team members, and provide opportunities to attend appropriate training and development courses.
Plan and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of new products or processes, and seek solutions to optimize current or new products or processes.
Provide and seek ongoing feedback and direction as planned or unplanned changes occur that may impact the business.
Plan, coordinate, review, and improve the implementation of safety, health, and environment systems and procedures that directly affect people and production activities.
Assist the Production Manager in implementing and leading the management of minor factory projects, and provide technical input to major projects.
Regularly monitor and review production-process costs against budget, and seek to create value in the production process.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of total productive maintenance (TPM) is an advantage.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

Active involvement in providing the necessary management support to enable the production teams to achieve their goals.
To plan & co-ordinate the training & development needs of each member of the production teams & provide opportunities for individuals to attend the appropriate training & development courses.
To plan & coordinate the implementation & maintenance of any new product or processes, & actively seek solutions to optimize these current or new products or processes.
Provides & seeks on going feedback & direction as planned or unplanned changes occur that can impact our business.
Plan, coordinate, review & improve the implementation of safety, health & environment systems & procedures that impact directly on people & production activities.
Assist the Production Manager in implementing & leading the management of minor factory projects. Provide technical input to major projects.
Monitors & reviews regularly all production process costs against budget, & actively seeks to create value in the production process.

ARE YOU A FIT?

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing.
Good English and Thai communication skills.
Knowledge of food processing unit and equipment.
Service minded, work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
Good project management skills and think on their feet.
SAP experience is a must.
TPM knowledge will be advantage.
