Overview
We’re excited to be looking for an Associate Production Manager to join our Operations team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our Senior Manager of Production, you will oversee Brooklinen production across various bedding categories and suppliers and support supplier improvement, product newness, and inventory agility.

This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and we have a 2 days in/3 days remote schedule.
What you’ll do
- Manage purchase orders and production for bedding categories (sheeting, top of bed, blankets, quilts, and assist with filled product!) with suppliers and factories worldwide
- Oversee requests, timely delivery, and review of pre-production, production, and photo samples
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient order consolidation and shipment
- Drive supplier compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure clear communication and updates
- Ensure data integrity across items, product details, tech packs, purchase orders, and vendor information
- Expand depth of knowledge of owned categories
- Develop an awareness of margin and cost impacts
- Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers
- Present vendor performance, ongoing projects, and related updates to the team and Chief Operating Officer
We’re looking for someone who brings
- 2-3 years of experience in production or a related field
- Working knowledge of materials and textiles
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and communicate effectively
- Excitement for working in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and comfortable with changing environments
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks proactively
- Experience with PLM software is a plus
- Experience working with ERP systems is a plus
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel to suppliers as needed
Compensation & Benefits
At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is between $70K–$74K.
Beyond base salary, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, provide a financial stipend through Carrot Fertility to help with the costs associated with the fertility journey, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbour match, have commuter benefits, and also provide a yearly product allowance.
We have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, year-long Summer Fridays, a workday that starts at 10 am, four weeks of vacation, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
