Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide grading support for undergraduate classes.
  • Develop rubrics for formative and summative assessments.
  • Examine and measure student work and provide quantitative and qualitative feedback.
  • Enter data and perform statistical analysis of results.
  • Help teachers prepare lessons by collecting materials and setting up equipment.
  • Review lessons or lectures with students individually or in small groups.
  • Supervise students in class, between classes, and during examinations.
  • Track attendance, grade assignments, and calculate grades.
  • Provide extra help to students who need accommodations or are struggling with concepts.
  • Assist students with special learning requirements, including disabilities or English as a second language.
  • Attend faculty meetings and parent conferences as needed.
  • Collaborate with the teacher to identify student issues and recommend solutions.
  • Follow state, school, class, University, and unit-level rules and policies and safeguard University assets.
  • Support the delivery of Gross Anatomy courses within the Department of Physical Therapy.
  • Assist in open laboratories and dissection sessions.
  • Guide and support students during dissection activities, ensure safety protocols are followed, and facilitate laboratory learning.
  • Collaborate with course instructors to prepare materials, set up laboratory equipment, and organize instructional resources.
  • Assist with grading assignments, conduct review sessions, and provide supplemental instruction as needed.
