Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited institution or relevant work experience is required.

  • The Legal Assistant Level V role requires six to eight years of experience and admission to the state bar.

  • The role requires the ability to manage other legal assistants.
Responsibilities
  • Address management concerns in accordance with agency policies.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, events, and similar activities supporting the training process.
  • Perform and track day-to-day training matters.
  • Provide administrative, clerical, and research support for Financial Crimes Enforcement Network program offices.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Report to a legal executive.
  • Provide assistance to attorneys in preparing legal documents.
  • Perform legal research and compile data from digests, encyclopedias, practice manuals, and other reference sources.
  • Prepare documents during discovery and production support, including reviewing, organizing, numbering, and indexing documents.
  • Capture documents on media for document conversion.
  • Convert documents to image formats such as TIFF or PDF, or to text.
  • Perform computer-assisted research using systems such as Lexis and Westlaw.
  • Participate in developing and implementing best practices and programs.
  • Participate in effective retention and recruitment strategies for the practice.
  • Establish, communicate, and guide relevant objectives, measurable goals, and performance standards for client outcomes.
  • Support initiatives to assess productivity and throughput and optimize resources.
  • Serve as a leader in performance improvement and best-practices initiatives.
  • Work with senior management on strategic and tactical plans to meet sales goals, grow the pipeline, and facilitate new sales opportunities.
  • Work with senior management to devise budgets to meet sales goals.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure consulting standards and client needs are met.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn other business tools and technologies is preferred.
