Requirements
  • The candidate must have 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, commercial controlling, business intelligence, or a comparable analytical role.
  • The candidate must have experience in retail, fast-moving consumer goods, trade marketing, media, advertising technology, or another commercial environment where data is used to measure business performance.
  • The candidate must have advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets; experience with SQL is required, while Python or business intelligence tools are advantageous.
  • The candidate must be able to independently structure, process, validate, and interpret complex commercial datasets.
  • The candidate must have experience translating analytical results into actionable business recommendations.
  • The candidate must understand key performance indicators, campaign performance measurement, commercial controlling, and performance reporting.
  • The candidate must work in a structured, detail-oriented, quality-focused manner with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • The candidate must have a proactive interest in improving processes through automation, artificial intelligence, and scalable analytical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end processing, validation, and analysis of customer revenue and campaign performance data across multiple retail clients.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness by analyzing store revenue uplift, campaign periods, and print versus digital performance using the Commercial Framework.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, client-ready insights and recommendations that support Commercial Vice Presidents and Retail Experts in customer conversations.
  • Build recurring reports, dashboards, and performance analyses that provide transparency on campaign success and commercial performance.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of datasets through structured quality assurance and validation processes.
  • Continuously improve and automate recurring analytical workflows by developing templates, scripts, and scalable reporting solutions using modern analytical tools.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Technology, and Data Engineering teams to improve data availability, reporting quality, and analytical efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations and commercial business cases by providing robust, evidence-based performance analyses.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing analytical processes and contribute to building scalable structures that support the company's continued growth.
  • Act as the commercial data expert by helping non-technical stakeholders understand analytical methodologies and performance drivers in a simple and actionable way.
