Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, robotics, computer science or related engineering field
  • 3+ years of work experience in mechanical, electro-mechanical, automotive, robotics, or similar industry/industries
  • Experience with programming, debugging, optimizing code in Python, Chef, Ansible or similar language to automate routine tasks
  • Good understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems
  • Hands on troubleshooting experience in a distributed Linux environment
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Datadog to manage assets and measure uptime and reliability
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cooperative, rapidly changing team setting with aggressive goals and challenging timelines
  • Passion for mentoring and growing junior developers
Responsibilities
  • Develop software platforms to provision, configure, and operate hardware assets
  • Develop tools to enable monitoring, visualization, and reporting of hardware assets
  • Build operational excellence in the HIL platform by measuring and monitoring test fleet uptime, availability, and system health
  • Manage deployment and configuration changes
  • Gather and analyze system’s performance data for failure analysis and performance improvements
