Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology.
  • A resume or curriculum vitae is required.
  • A cover letter is required.
Responsibilities
  • Attend on HMCT inpatient services on a rotating basis, including shared weekend and on-call responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain outpatient clinics for patients with non-malignant hematologic conditions.
  • Supervise the plan of care, procedures, diagnostic testing, and consultation orders of house staff in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in hematology and bone marrow transplantation conferences, journal clubs, and other academic activities, and provide teaching lectures to residents, medical students, and fellows.
  • Support departmental and divisional research efforts, including clinical trial development, accrual, and research mentorship.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Division Director or Department Chair.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain expertise in non-malignant hematology and related clinical and research practices.
