  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in affordable multi-family housing, with a thorough understanding of LIHTC, HUD, market trends, and challenges.
  • 5 years of successful sales engineering experience, including involvement in complex Affordable solution sales and technical leadership.
  • Ability to align technical expertise with sales strategies, contributing to successful revenue generation and market penetration.
  • A proven track record of engaging with executives, building strong relationships, and influencing decisions.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A natural inclination toward innovation and an ability to envision creative technical solutions to challenging problems.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, fostering teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client engagements and industry events.
Responsibilities
  • Leverage your extensive expertise in Affordable multi-family to advise and guide sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders on technical matters, product positioning, and solution architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales leadership team to define and execute sales strategies, ensuring technical alignment and value proposition delivery.
  • Engage with key clients and prospects at the executive level to understand their business needs, offer tailored technical solutions, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead the design and presentation of innovative and intricate technical solutions that address clients' unique challenges and contribute to winning proposals.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives by participating in industry events, conferences, and seminars, contributing to whitepapers, and establishing yourself as an authority in the field.
  • Act as a conduit between clients and our product management and engineering teams, providing invaluable insights to influence product enhancements and roadmap decisions.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical presentations that resonate with clients, fostering confidence in our solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for the sales team, empowering them with the technical knowledge needed to effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Set performance benchmarks for the sales engineering team, evaluate progress, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the sales engineering team, fostering their growth and development.
