- Experience working with children and teens diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities is required.
- A vehicle is required for travel between assignments.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification is required.
- Candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
- Conduct intake evaluations, including functional behavioral assessments and skills assessments.
- Design treatment plans of care.
- Supervise and monitor the progress of behavior technicians.
- Design positive behavioral treatment and skill acquisition plans with goals tailored to each individual.
- Supervise and train Applied Behavior Analysis technicians, and implement, model, and monitor individualized behavior support and skill plans with them.
- Provide caring support during family conversations so parents fully understand assessment results and treatment recommendations.
- Graph data, adjust strategies as needed to ensure progress, and provide routine progress summaries.
