Requirements
- The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- The candidate must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in good standing in the State of Georgia.
- The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- The candidate must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, Emergency Services, or Electrophysiology.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Manage care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
- Practice professional nursing through collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- An additional life-support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
