At least 5 years of experience in information technology project management.
At least 2 years of experience working in an established Project Management Office.
Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project and/or project management technology tools.
Experience applying Project Management Institute best practices for project management.
Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field, or equivalent work experience.
The candidate must be able to provide an identification document if an interview is requested to verify identity throughout submission, interviewing, and employment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate project activities for the design and implementation of business process, legislative, and supporting information systems projects.
Apply project management principles to the development and delivery of business projects.
Facilitate and author project determination documentation, business cases, scope definitions, and project charters in accordance with project management guidelines.
Manage scope, deliverables, risks, and issues for assigned projects.
Facilitate the gathering of project requirements with business and information technology staff, business process owners, business process subject matter experts, and key stakeholders as needed.
Engage other stakeholders as necessary throughout project closure.
Provide status reports to program management and stakeholders.
Document lessons learned and conduct project closure activities.
Perform other related duties as required.
